Hello everyone, my name is Libby Reynolds, I am an independent Avon Leader - my brand is called Punzel's.co.uk and I am heavily addicted to makeup!!!
I have loved working with Avon since May 2015 and since then my Avon makeup collection has grown massively. I have loved trying out new looks with their quality products, at the most affordable prices.
I thought I would share with you one of my fave "full glam" Avon looks for an intense smokey eye - so I broke it down into pictures and brief descriptions so it's easy to follow. Enjoy! :-)
1. eyeshadow primer
Apply a dab of Avon’s eyeshadow primer on both eyes. Left eye: how much I put on, right eye: how it looks after it’s smoothed into skin.
It’s a quick-drying primer that absorbs oil and makes a smooth canvas so eyeshadow applies more evenly, and lasts longer. It prevents creasing and fading and makes colour look brilliant for longer, coming in shade light beige.
Eyebrows are probably the most important feature on my face when it comes to makeup I won’t lie!
This is quite a big step altogether now, a lot of people ask me how I do my eyebrows and honestly it varies depending on the pencil I am using. For the purpose of this tutorial, I am using:
Avon Glimmersticks brow definer in dark brown
Avon brow and lash comb
Avon highlighter and bronzer duo
Avon ideal flawless foundation
As you can see, it’s quite a few products – but it’s worth it in the end for the perfect brow!
So you want to start by outlining your ideal brow shape. Don’t start drawing right at the beginning of your eyebrows, as you will be able to blend it into the front part so it doesn’t look all boxed in in a little while.
Once the brows are outlined, begin by filling from the outside inwards. Stop about 2/3′s in, and blend into the front using your brow comb.
Then get a small dab of your foundation and a small precision brush to re-shape your brow and get rid of any drawing you may have done outside of the lines.
Finally, finish by applying a small amount of highlighter under the arch of the brow and blend to the end of it, avoiding the perfectly blended part.
Step 1 of eyeshadow application base colour
Eye Dimensions eyeshadow duo in sultry smoke
Eyeshadow brush with smudger
Apply first colour evenly across lids just about the crease, and use the blending brush to blend.
Apply second colour along the crease, and use blending brush to blend in.
Third and final eyeshadow step
Using the smudging end of the eyeshadow brush, apply a small amount of the black eyeshadow along the crease, and blend so it seamlessly flows into step number 2′s colour.
Now it’s time to add your eyeliner. I used Avon’s SuperExtend eyeliner in black for a precise, easy-to-apply look – which is easy to control for either thin to bold lines. The best part is that it’s transfer resistant and lasts all day!
How to apply eyeliner
Finally... Apply mascara and kohl - false lashes too if you're wanting that full glam look - and voila! There you have it. A full glam Avon makeup look.
I hope you like this look and have a go at recreating this look for yourself too! If you do, please let me know how you get on. Share it with me on my personal Facebook Page and let me know what you like about it, and any changed you have made.
I also did a full write up on my website, www.punzels.co.uk - including contouring and lipstick.
Please stick around and look out for more posts from me, I am looking at doing even more makeup looks and sharing my lips and ideas with you!
