Favourite seaside resorts in the UK? [ Edited ]

Hi Beauty Connects, 

We've been experiencing some lovely weather here finally, how is it where you are?

With warmer weather on the horizon, I'm sure many of you like me, will be thinking of booking a little getaway. I'd love a little weekend break by the seaside! Where's your favourite place by the sea in the UK?

I'm in the Midlands so nowhere near the sea :-(

But my Dad has recently moved to Watchet in Somerset which is a lovely little town and close enough to drive into Minehead, we've been and stayed with him a couple of times but I'm looking forward to when we can go with better weather!

@leighmavon I'm very lucky I live near the coast, we're in north east it's lovely! Sometimes gets bad reputation up here but we're near cities, forest and beaches so I love it. Is your picture if somewhere you've been or just a pretty pic?

Virtually anywhere on the Isle of Wight. There are beautiful beaches here. xx

It has only just started warming up here too in the north east.  I don't live near a beach now, but for the first 20 years of my life I lived on the South East coast, Margate, Kent to be exact, we spent a lot of our summers on the beach when we were kids. We hardly ever get to go away.  The last time for nearly 18 months ago, not very far from where we lived, just for one night, we went and visited Newbiggin on the Sea which was ok.  Could do with a nice weekend away if we had the money.

Oh, I do love the seaside, but in the Midlands I'm a long way from any beach.
